Angelo brings over 40 years of experience in heavy civil and construction to his role as President of NuBuild Contracting. Before founding NuBuild, he built and led successful construction businesses; a track record that shaped the leadership philosophy and operational standards the company runs on today. Ten years into NuBuild's journey, Angelo remains deeply involved in both the big picture direction and the day-to-day of the business. His hands-on approach and decades of industry knowledge continue to be the foundation the entire organization is built on.

Umberto is a Certified Engineering Technologist with 15 years of experience in civil engineering, and one of the original architects of what NuBuild is today. Before co-founding the company, he served as an inspector with the Municipality of Durham and went on to work as a construction manager. This experience gave him a deep understanding of how projects are built, managed, and delivered at every level. At NuBuild, Umberto has been involved in the company's processes from day one, and his technical precision and operational instincts remain central to how the business runs.

Michael is a Certified Engineering Technologist with 10 years of experience in civil engineering. He joined NuBuild in 2018, bringing a background in land development technology that gave him a strong foundation in how projects take shape from the ground up. As Operations Manager, Michael is focused on the successful execution of day-to-day operations & making sure the right resources, processes, and people are in place to keep projects moving and standards high.

Anna has spent over 40 years in accounting and finance, managing the financial operations of multiple businesses — including family-owned enterprises and the construction companies that preceded NuBuild. That level of experience across industries and business structures gives her a uniquely grounded perspective on how organizations grow and sustain themselves. She has been with NuBuild from its very first day, and her financial stewardship has been a quiet constant behind every milestone the company has reached. Outside of NuBuild, Anna is also a registered real estate salesperson — a reflection of the same sharp eye for value and long-term thinking she brings to everything she does.

Mike spent 31 years with the Ontario Provincial Police, rising to the rank of Detective Inspector and serving as a Major Case Manager. These are roles that demanded precision, leadership under pressure, and the ability to coordinate complex operations with zero margin for error. After retiring from the OPP, he transitioned into private corporate investigation before joining NuBuild in 2023 as an Operations Manager. His impact was immediate. In 2024, Mike was promoted to Director of Operations, and the organization he oversees runs like a well-oiled machine — structured, accountable, and built to perform.

Alex's foundation in advertising and marketing was built in the classroom and sharpened quickly in the field, starting with an internship in advertising before launching a media company in 2017 focused exclusively on real estate and construction. That company grew, earned publication features in industry magazines, and is still in operation today. After two years working with NuBuild as a client, Alex joined the team full-time as Director of Marketing — bringing the creative instincts, industry fluency, and entrepreneurial edge of someone who has built something of their own.

With nearly 15 years in the telecom industry, Daniel has built a career spanning roles from CAD Technician to Senior Manager, understanding the challenges in each role from first hand experience. Daniel has led design and permitting project teams across Canada, while building collaborative client relationships and partnerships with local contractors along the way.

With a strong focus on health and safety, a client and quality first approach, and an eye for budget conscious solutions that get it right the first time, Daniel is focused on delivering repeatable success for every project.

Nunzio Di Lecce is a telecommunications executive with more than 30 years of experience leading the design, engineering, construction, and deployment of wireline and fiber optic infrastructure across Ontario. He has delivered large-scale capital programs, built high-performing technical teams, and developed strategic partnerships that have expanded network capabilities for telecommunications providers, utilities, municipalities, and private-sector clients.
 

Nunzio's expertise spans fiber network deployment, aerial and underground infrastructure, engineering and design management, contractor and municipal coordination, and capital program delivery from concept through construction and closeout. Known for aligning business strategy with operational execution, he navigates complex regulatory environments and large contractor ecosystems to accelerate network deployment while maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Nunzio's leadership at NuBuild continues to support the expansion of critical communications infrastructure connecting communities, businesses, and institutions across Ontario.

John-Anthony has been in construction since 2011, building his career from the ground up with a work history that spans some of the industry's most demanding environments. He started as a Project Manager before stepping into a Foreman role in 2013 with Briarwood Homes and Brookfield Properties. From 2017 to 2021, he served as a Utilities Foreman at NX Utilities, deepening his expertise in underground infrastructure. He joined NuBuild in 2021 as a Foreman, was promoted to FTTH Manager in 2022, and in 2026 took on the role of Construction Manager. This progression reflects both his technical range and his ability to lead crews and complex projects in the field.

Anna Prezio’s drive and dedication at NuBuild reflects a strong commitment to leadership, worker protection, and the development of a proactive safety culture. Since joining the company in 2017 in an administrative role, Anna has continuously expanded her expertise and responsibilities, advancing through operational and logistics leadership Anna leads the continued growth and evolution of NuBuild’s Health & Safety Department, helping to build safer workplaces, stronger teams, and a culture of accountability and excellence across the organization.
